Lisheen House is one of the most asked-about locations on our Ireland in Focus tours — and with good reason.

 

Just a mile from where I grew up in Sligo, I spent childhood summers playing in its ruins, long before I understood the eerie history that surrounded it. What was once a grand 19th-century mansion is now known more for ghost stories and poltergeist tales than for its architecture.
